I'm sure you have seen the reports stating CD sales have been falling year after year. I remember as a kid being excited to go to stores like The Wall or Sam Goodies or my local record shop and pick up a new CD. Then I would get home put the CD on and listen to the album while looking at the albums' artwork! It was so great! But as time has gone on I have grown further and further away from buying the actual CD, in fact I can't remember the last physical CD I purchased. And now that I have an iPod…forget it...to be honest I'm not sure if I'll ever buy a physical CD again. So with music accessible with the click of a button through places like iTunes or Amazon, when do you think the physical CD's will become obsolete, because eventually it will cost the record labels more money than it worth?
FYI ~ Album sales for 2007 are now down 15.3% for the year, compared with 2006 (Billboard).
